Terms for using SpeakSignal.

Agreement

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Marbatis Systems LLC, the Texas company that operates SpeakSignal. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using SpeakSignal, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you live, to create an account or purchase a subscription. You are responsible for using an email address you control, keeping your password secure, and all activity under your account. Do not share verification codes or allow another person to use your account.

The service

SpeakSignal provides AI-assisted speech-clarity practice. You choose a topic, speak a practice sentence, receive a focused suggestion, and may retry. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate. SpeakSignal is a practice tool, not professional, medical, legal, employment, or educational-certification advice.

The service is in a founding beta. Features, voices, limits, and availability may change. We may limit enrollment or pause features to protect reliability, safety, or cost controls.

Free plan

Quick Fix provides up to three active minutes per day on up to five used practice days per calendar month. This allowance is the same for new and returning Free accounts.

The microphone check does not consume practice time. Once a practice session is active, time runs even while you are quiet. Pausing saves the remainder for that account-local day. Unused days and seconds do not roll over. No payment card is required for Free practice.

Paid subscription

Daily Practice costs $9.99 per month and provides up to 10 active practice minutes each account-local day while the subscription has Paid access. Minutes reset daily and do not roll over. Taxes, if any, are shown at Checkout.

The subscription renews automatically each month until canceled. Stripe processes payment and manages the secure billing portal. You authorize the recurring charge shown at Checkout when you subscribe.

Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel through Manage billing in your SpeakSignal account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, so Paid access continues until that date. Payments are generally non-refundable and unused daily minutes have no cash value, except where a refund is required by law or expressly stated at Checkout.

Acceptable use

You may not use SpeakSignal to:

• Break the law or violate another person's rights.
• Submit content you do not have permission to use.
• Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm another person.
• Probe, bypass, or interfere with security or usage limits.
• Reverse engineer the service or extract protected prompts, credentials, or systems.
• Automate abusive requests, resell access, or use another person's account.

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, providers, the service, or legal compliance.

Your content and our service

You keep any rights you have in the content you provide. You give us and our service providers permission to process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and support SpeakSignal. Do not provide confidential information, protected health information, payment-card details, passwords, or other sensitive data in a practice topic or live drill.

SpeakSignal, its software, branding, and non-user content are owned by Marbatis Systems LLC or its licensors. These terms do not transfer that ownership to you.

Availability and warranty disclaimer

We work to keep SpeakSignal available, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a particular learning outcome, or that every AI suggestion will be correct. You remain responsible for deciding whether and how to use any suggestion.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marbatis Systems LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from SpeakSignal. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us for SpeakSignal during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so applicable law may give you additional rights.

Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these terms as the beta develops. We will post the new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Texas law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where your local law requires otherwise.
